Our new Amigurumi baby, craft decorations, and rainy day photos

Oh hello! I have been very busy lately, so no posts. I was invited to a show at the public television studio, WHYY, to sell accessories at a craft table.

I spent a long time making decorations for the table and extra items to sell. I hope people post pictures soon, because I was silly enough to not take my camera!

"Dear, Should we sell this cute amigurumi?"

"No no, he's far too cute! He must stay home, with us!"

I love amigurumis!
P.J. Wins! He stays with us!!!

This is one of my favorite looks, because I love colorful hair. It is safer for me to not dye my hair, because I greatly dislike the extra work of taking care for it. image
Maybe one day when I am famous and have plenty of extra money, I will pay for lavish special treatments for my dyed hair. For now, I enjoy having temporary dyed hair.

Is it ok to post older pictures? I have run out of new pictures for for now, and I have not posted these on my blog before.

I love rain! I would like to wear my hair in this hime style again soon. These pictures were taken a year ago, and now it is finally spring again. It is taking a long time to get warmer, and there are still some days where there is light snow. I am buying all the hats and gloves on sale for next year!

Soon it will be warmer, and I will be able to wear more fun outfits like these. I have spent a long time sewing during winter, and have new skirts to wear!

Ok! Thats all for now! Thank you for reading. And if you have any cute things you think I may like, could you add your comment? thank you!

My Personal Blog: Shoes and stuff!

I think most gyaru have there own blog, where they post pictures of the things they buy, and there make up looks. I don't want to fill my main blog for Fluff Accessories with such things, so they will go here!

My name is Jamie, but my friends call me P.J. (no one calls me P.J Sparkle, but I wish they did)
I am 24, and my birthday is April 25th (Taurus)
I live in Philadelphia, in a house I have named "Sparkle Land" (more pics of that someday)
I am the designer of Fluff Accessories. Inspired by Japanese street fashions like Gyaru and Lolita, and Hime Deco, and a general desire to stand out, I create things to make others feel beautiful and happy.

But this blog isn't about that. It's just about
MEEEEE!!

This is me, today, as I type this. My boyfriend is sick, and I have been meaning to go out and get a new filter for our humidifier, but I haven't been willing to leave him alone. I spent alot of time doing my make up, so that I would not have to leave the house. Also, it is very cold out (although he claims it was warmer today) That is why this is not an outfit post. I am bundled up in sweats, and jeans to stay warm. At least I have my favorite hat to keep me warm.

These pictures are from yesterday.Clicking each should give you a bigger size.

The bow and the bracelet are designs I am working on.

I'm gettting used to my make up routine for the first time in ages. I lost one of my circle lenses about a month ago. (It fell down the drain while I was putting them on) I suppose that's what I get for leaving the water running. How wasteful!

While I didn't have them, I didn't have the heart to do gyaru makeup. It doesn't feel the same to me without lenses. I had also gotten into the habit of wearing them while not in gyaru, I just feel naked without them!

These are the contacts I use:
Geo Bambi Sesame Gray (Princess Mimi)
I got them from HoneyColor
I think these lenses are fairly common, and lots of people order from Honey color. I think they are probably one of the most popular websites for circle lenses. I love the grey color, because It isn't too un-natural. Brown would be to common, and "everyone" gets hazel contacts. The grey just adds enough of a highlight that makes my eyes more noticeable.

"Someone bought me something!"
Last for today, a pair of boots I am making covers for. The style of boot is called a "granny boot"
probably because of the small heel. I call it a "kitten heel" but I like the thought of my grandmother wearing these, so I'm ok with calling it a granny heel. They were one of my wonderful Christmas gifts from my boyfriend.

These are the boots, with the covers. They are removable, so I can wear them with a different pair. They still need a bow, with maybe some stones, or pearls. I should order flat pearls,so that I do not have to sew them on by hand each time. Instead, I can use strong glue, and enjoy pearls on more of my things.

This is what they look like without the boot cover.

Ok that's all for now! Welcome to my blog!!!! -P.J.

Cute, Inexpensive Ebay items, new eyeshadow pallets, eyelashes and more!

Hello Sparkels!

I just wanted to share a few clothing items I found on sale on ebay. These are all items that are currently being sold, at the time of writing this, so you still may be able to grab them!

Knitted Cardigan Sweater $14.88:
This Cute sweater comes in three colors, but of course, I love the pink one! This could be paired with a ton of different looks.

Skull Top in black or pink $8.88

Long shirts are really fun to wear with a mini skirt, or with tights. This would make a great creepy-cute outfit!

The Gyaru Blog, Star Princess has plenty of helpful winter style tips. I just need to find a pair of cute rubber boots, and I'll be set!

I love good, lush, smooth makeup, and the new "Vice Palett" eyeshadow collection looks like it has everything I'll ever need.
"A sophisticated palette all about eye shadow featuring 20 new Urban Decay shades, created exclusively for this collection."

The cover has a really simple and sophisticated design. The Urban Decay initials are (three dimensional?) multifaceted, and the high quality case itself features a smooth closing, dampening hinge, so that you don't upset your smooth, lushous shadow.

It's available at Sephora, or on the Sephora website. At $60.00 it's deffinitly a splurge, but also an investment, since this is going to last even  the worst (read: best) make-up junkie a long long time. Buy-me-stuff season The holidays are coming, so maybe you need this more than the new eye phone? I'm just kidding, you just need both.

"Eyelashes, Eyelashes, my fake eyelashes.
How I love to wear my fake eyelashes!"

I'm in the market for more eye lashes. I ran out a few weeks back. I feel so naked! This is what I'm looking to purchase.

Good  'ol hearty lashes.

NATURAL 15 MODLE EYE MAKE UP BLACK LONG FALSE EYELASHES

I like these lashes. They look huge, and chunky and totally wrong in the photo, but are actually give a natural, yet dramatic shape. I bought two boxes of these. I like to flex the lashes themselves (not the band although I do that to )a bit, to make sure the lashes are curling to my liking. I'm going to experiment with making a super long pair of lashes using these.

Inexpensive, higher quality lashes.

5 Pair Japan Style Magic Upper False Eyelash
$6.99 with free shipping Available here on ebay
I haven't used these yet, but at $7.00 for 5 pairs, I'm willing to take the risk. The increased thickness at the end makes eyes look more "doll-like"
Sebastian Masuda. From the Juxtapoz Magazine Website.
Juxtapoz Magazine did an interview a while back with Sebastian Masuda, the founder of 6% DokiDoki. Did you know he also did Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's PonPonPon video?

Need more cute on your Tumblr Dashboard? Princess Peachie is unbearably adorable.

Ok! thats all for now! Keep Sparkling!

Kawaii International: an english speaking, Japanese Kawaii trend show

Hello Sparkles, I have something to share with you!

Kawaii International is a show that you can watch online, that highlights kawaii Japanese trends. I love the Kawaii Show off Contest! It looks like alot of fun, although I'm sure it's super competitive. The most recent contest had a Hime Princess theme.

This is Ayano Tokumoru, a super pretty shop girl! She is the host of the contest.

It is very unfortunate that the contest is closed now, but there will be more to look forward to in the future.

As for watching the show, it streams every 4 hours on this website. I know this is not ideal for anyone. I am going to try and create a video of this, to share with you all. If you follow me, you'll know when the update is.

Thats all for now, Sparkles!

Frill, The Lolita Convention 2013 had been announced!

Oh my Stars!!!

Frill, The Lolita Convention 2013 had been announced!

Here's the facebook post from Adrea Nicole, a personal friend and one of the directors of Frill:

Announcing Frill 2013 - The Lolita Convention. June 1-2, 2013 Decatur, Ga at the Marriott Courtyard-Decatur. Registration opens Dec 15, 2012.
Please see Affrilliation web site for registration details and much more information about location and convention. Please keep checking back for more information! Questions to affrilliation@gmail.com. See you there!

I'm so excited!  I can't wait to go! I didn't get to make it to 2012 but there was so much great stuff!
One of the great parts of Frill, are its showcase of lolita designers, which Fluff will be a part of! Among others, here are some of the items planed to be a part of boutique.

Last year, the convention had a Consignment Shop, where you could send your gently worn lolita to be sold. Here's information from the Frill website describing it:

"Frill’s consignment shop will allow attendees to sell gently used lolita goods to a captive audience of interested customers. The commission fees help cover the cost of the boutique space, equipment and credit card fees. Customers will have the convenience of being able to try on clothes before they buy to make a sound decision, and attentive shop staff will make sure your beautiful pieces stay safe! Best of all, there’s no risk to you because if you don’t sell anything, you don’t pay anything! "

This is one of the posters from last year. Lots of artist and  designers were a part making it great!
